Our most popular tour! The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas.

From our observation point, you will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks.

Next, we will visit the hot springs of the volcano, where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano.

At a convenient time after your arrival, we will treat you to a splendid dinner. This is absolutely an evening you will not want to miss in Costa Rica!

On this tour we will also visit the town of Sarchí, well known for the beauty of the handcrafts that they produce.

Tortuguero Canals

Tortuguero is a navigable network of canals, exuberant vegetation, fauna and one of the most important sites for the nesting of the Green Sea Turtle that occurs between July and September.

Let us treat you to an adventure that begins in San Jose, passing by Braulio Carrillo National Park and banana plantations until the dock. From here board a comfortable roofed boat for a journey through the canals and the rainforest.

Discover an area where more than 300 species of birds have been identified, and wildlife such as monkeys, crocodiles, caimans, toucans, macaws, sloth, among others, live in their natural habitat.

Once in Tortuguero town, you will be taken on guided hiking around this wonderful place.

This tour immerses you in the rich Costa Rican culture and history by experiencing the beautiful museums and historical sites of San José. It begins with an orientation and drive through the beautiful Sabana Park.

Next, we will take a walking tour through the historic National Theater. Completed in 1897, the theater is a masterpiece in art and architecture.

Afterwards we will visit one of the many unique museums of Costa Rica. We will continue heading to the University of Costa Rica, the Supreme Court and various sites of interest.

A brief stop will be made in Moravia allowing you to browse through the beautiful craft shops located in this area before returning to your hotel.

This tour is a complete package that allows you to see what we feel is the true essence of Costa Rica.

Our first stop is breakfast at a local café where you will enjoy an authentic Costa Rican style breakfast.

We will then take you to a third-generation coffee plantation and show you how coffee is picked, milled, ground, and roasted. Once you’ve found out first hand, or cup, why Costa Rica is known for its coffee, it’s off to the Poás Volcano.

This crater volcano is one of the four active volcanoes in Costa Rica. The crystal blue sulfur pools will amaze you along with the steam rising from the various volcanic vents.

But, that’s not all: our last stop is La Paz Waterfall Gardens.

Your personal tour guide will take you through the largest butterfly observatory, the hummingbird garden and through the trails along the cascading La Paz river; here you will experience the majesty of five incredible waterfalls as you walk above, below and right next to the magnificent falls.

After your hike you will enjoy our Costa Rican buffet lunch while taking in the breathtaking view of the La Paz river valley.

We will have you back at your hotel around 4:00 p.m. (Just in time to drop a postcard to friends and family back home about your incredible day).
