Day 2 Early departure to experience the Best of Costa Rica tour. The Rain Forest Aerial Tram is a unique eco-tourism and research facility that takes visitors floating through the rainforest canopy, with its hanging garden of plants and animals high in the tops of tropical trees. The 2.600 meter (app. 8,530 ft.) tram ride takes about 90 minutes. On the outbound trip, gondolas travel through the lower and intermediate levels of the forest. Day 5 Breakfast and departure to a wonderful horseback riding tour around the volcano, is time to admire all the great wildlife diversity the zone has to offer. The views of the Valley of San Carlos forest that surround it are spectacular. In the afternoon prepare to enjoy a motorboat ride on the lake where you will have the opportunity to see a huge variety of resident and migratory birds, and mammals like the monkeys, coatis, and sloths. Day 8 Breakfast and to the south to the beautiful beach of Punta Uvita in the Ballena Marine National Park, the country's only totally underwater National Park. The area also supports several species of reptiles, mammals, birds and is full of hundreds of different species of exotic animals. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beach and the sorrundings. You will board a cozy boat to start watching the abundant wildlife along the shores, then to search for some species of Dolphins, Whales and/or possibly the Sea Turtles that inhabit these waters. Day 5 Breakfast and departure for a field trip to La Gamba Project. After dinner, get ready for an extraordinary experience, taking a night walk at Heliconia trail. Overnight at the Tropical Center.
Day 6 Breakfast and during the day field laboratory and presentation of results. After dinner, get ready for an exciting popular dance lesson. Overnight at the Tropical Center.
Day 7 Breakfast and in the morning visit an Indian Reserve. In the afternoon lunch at the reserve and then transfer to Danta Corcovado Lodge.. At night, prepare food in a wood oven. After dinner, our educators will explain about next day activities to Corcovado National Park. Overnight at Corcovado.
Day 8 Breakfast and Trip to Corcovado National Park. Free afternoon at Danta Corcovado Lodge also learn a some tips for the Spanish language. Overnight at Corcovado.
Day 9 Breakfast and visit the Organic agriculture Farm “Kobo”. Later transfer to La Cusinga, a beach lodge located in the “Ballena Marine National Park”. There will be free time to enjoy this beautiful beach. After dinner we will have a presentation on marine ecosystems. Overnight at La Cusinga.
